The SUMMER BODY CONDITIONING program was officialy piloted in spring 2010 to great success and was developed by instructors with experience in the fields of martial arts, kettlebell training, powerlifting, ashtanga vinyasa yoga & other physical disciplines to develop a training program designed to get any individual into top shape & peak physical condition based on leading fundamental training principles.
The success of the SUMMER BODY CONDITIONING programs can be attributed to its unique fusion of optimal training methods, because unlike conventional training that focuses on bulking up the major mobiliser muscles, this unique training employs the whole body & core as a unit to develop functional strength and lean muscle development through a fun yet challenging training course!
By employing kettlebells & plyometrics through a combination of strength, power and endurance exercises, guided nutrition, and HKC certified instructor led classes, you will burn fat and develop toned, lean muscle with increased levels of energy & overall wellbeing.
Whether you are an absolute beginner or a seasoned athlete, this is the course for you!
Course content for the Summer of 2016 Program:
- - 3 Hour Kettlebell Fundamentals workshop;
- - 6 Weeks individualized training, 6 times a week with HKC and TacFit Certified instructors;
- - Individualized eating plan by Dietician
- - Functional Movement Screening with Mrs. Deidre Birkill (Physiotherapist) to prevent injuries and maximize training performance;
- - Before and After Biometric Measurements;
- - HKC Certified Instructor led classes to ensure optimal training;

Dragon Spirit Fitness Fusion Center, will host a Kettlebell Fundamentals Course that will teach the trainee the correct method and technique to achieving maximum results from their training.
Course Fundamentals Covered will include:
- Introduction to Kettlebells;
- Warm Up & Joint Mobility;
- Technique for Goblet Squats; Deadlifts; Pendelums; the Kettlebell Swing & more!
Monday: 10 October ................... Training Begins
The training schedule follows our DragonFit sessions.
Trainees will be required to do the following classes weekly:
2 x Brawnbuilder Classes, 2 x MettleMax Classes, 1 x FxMob Class, 1 x Dragon Challenge
First Time Trainees or Summer Body Full Package: R2 950.00 per person (this includes all workshops, assessments and other extras);
A portion of Nutrition and Biometrics assessments and Physio pre-screening can be claimed back from medical aids.
Earn Discovery Vitality points for every training session.
Returning Trainees - 6 Week Training Package: R1 600.00 per person - (Please note that is is for the 6 Weeks Training ONLY. If returning trainees would like biometric measurements, dietician consultation or attend the Fundamentals Workshop, then one may do so at the prices listed below or opt for the full package above);
Body Composition : R150 per person, per session;
Dietician Consultation : R500 per person;
Kettlebell Fundamentals Workshop : R400 per person;
Functional Movement Screening : R280 per person;
